Welding Structure

Welded stainless steel sheet constructions can be advantageous for many applications. Often the disadvantages of the materials compared to comparable cast materials in terms of lower creep rupture strength are compensated by a lower weight. One-off costs for patterns can be eliminated.

Typical components are:

tube support and brackets, bubble caps in distillation columns, flame tubes, radiant heating tubes in various forms (I, W, P, double P), muffles, fan wheels, annealing hoods.
